Steven Gray – Player Intermediary

Steven was a professional footballer for 15 years. He played for Southampton FC, Drogheda United, Derry City, Bohemians and Melbourne Heart in Australia. He was part of the very successful Drogheda team around 2005 that won; the league, the FAI cup and 2 Setanta cups. After 5 years with Drogheda, Steven moved to Derry City and enjoyed success there, playing in 2 cup finals. He moved to Melbourne in 2010 and is 1 of only 4 Irish players to play in the A league. Steven started coaching a number of years ago and is an UEFA A licence holder. Steve also has a degree in physical therapy and is currently studying an MBA and writing a dissertation on how players are represented and cared for. Steven joined the Footprint Sports team in early 2018 and will play an important role in the development of the player-centred philosophy that we adhere to.
